In order to correctly Browse The Treasure Websites you will need to satisfy the following standard minimum computer requirements:

Hardware:
Windows 95/98, Windows NT, IRIX(SGI), Apple OS, Solaris, Linux or similar capable PC or Macintosh computer. 16 Megabytes of memory (RAM). A sound card will enhance the experience, but is not essential. If you have any problem viewing any sections of the Public Start Page(s) please consult your Hardware Vendors or applicable Websites for details of the relevant Hardware upgrades.

Connection:
14.4 kbs modem (28.8 kbs or higher preferred).

Software:
The ability to independently save and view GIF, JPG & TXT files is essential, so if you are using a text only Browser, you will have to upgrade later on (don't worry we'll show you where to do this). Java Applets are employed throughout the Treasure Websites, so please ensure that Java is enabled. If you have a Sound Card, the ability to independently save and listen to WAV, AU & MIDI files will be useful, but definitely not essential. If you have any problem viewing any sections of the Public Start Page(s) please consult your Software Vendors or applicable Websites for relevant upgrades.
